> Where are we located?
We run our workshops out of Pinot and Picasso Newcastle Studio space at 4 Perkins Street, Newcastle.
> Who will be running my workshop?
We have an amazing group of friendly, Newcastle artists that will help guide you through your class. Mitch Revs does not instruct these workshops.
> What time should I arrive?
You only need to arrive at the gallery 5 minutes before your workshop time, as we will not start the class until the time of your workshop.
> Parental presence // Can I stay at the workshop with my child/children
We kindly ask that all parents leave the workshop space once the class commences to ensure these kids get the most value out of the experience. We have found in most circumstances it to be more distruptive for kids having parents stay during the class.
We will look after your little ones and make sure they leave with a smile on their face.
> What age does my child have to be to attend?
All participants of our children’s workshops need to be 8 years or older. We want all attendees to get as much out of these workshops as possible. In our experience we have found that children under the age of 8 years old struggle to participate for the full 2 hours.
> I didn’t receive a confirmation email.
Please check your junk folder and if you are still missing your confirmation email contact us and we can see what has happened with your booking.
Payment and Booking
> What payment options are available online?
You can pay using a credit / debt card, after pay, gift voucher or your NSW Government Creative Kids Voucher. All additional payment types like AMEX can be found at the footer of our website.

> What if I need to cancel or reschedule my booking?
We do require a 24-hour notice if you are unable to attend the workshop. Contact us to discuss a reschedule or refund.

Skatedeck workshops
> What is included in the cost of my session?
2hr creative workshop with the guidance from professional local artists.
1 x 7 ply Maple Skate deck that is yours to keep.
All other workshop materials (Sketch and inspiration guides & Paint pen usage)
> What do we use to paint the skate deck?
Paint Pens! They are super easy to use, can be used on most surfaces and are mess free (to some extent)
> My friend also booked into a workshop; Can I sit with them?
Of course, you can!! When you arrive just save them a seat next to you.
> Can I ride the skateboard once I am finished?
When you leave our workshop, you will have a skatedeck with your artwork on it. Either hang it on your wall or, you can then take it to a skateboard shop and have them complete your skateboard to make it fully functioning.
> Do I have to put a sealer on my finished skate deck?
You don’t have to seal your skatedeck though if you are going to be riding your artwork, we do recommend applying a clear spray paint over the top.
After Dark 18+
> What is included in the cost of my session?
3 hr creative workshop with the guidance from professional local artists.
1 x Maple Skate deck that is yours to keep.
All other workshop materials (sketch and inspiration guides & paint pen usage).
> Can we purchase alcohol at the workshop?
Decked Out After Dark is BYO only! We don’t sell any alcoholic drinks in the gallery, but we are conveniently located with a bottle shop across the road.
> Is glassware available?
Yes we have glassware available in the gallery but you are welcome to BYO that too.
> Is there a fridge?
Yes, our gallery has a fridge to keep drinks cold! If you would like to bring an esky with ice as well, you are more than welcome to do so.
Canvas Panel Workshops
> What is included in the cost of my session?
2hr to 3hr creative workshop with the guidance from Ppofessional local artists.
1x 12 X 16 Inch rectangular canvas panel or 15.7 Inch circle canvas panel
All other workshop materials (Sketch and inspiration guides & Paint pen usage)
> Can I frame my canvas?
Our 12 X 16 Inch rectangular canvas panels fit into a 12 X 16 inch frame perfectly!
